Future Taxi Academy
Future Taxi Academy is a free initial guidance and practical preparation programme, aimed mainly at people interested in joining the profession as VTC drivers. We explain the requirements that apply in each territory, how the service works professionally and the day-to-day running of the main mobility platforms.
This is a free programme. We are not an accredited training centre, nor an employment agency, and we offer no guarantee of employment of any kind.
Participant profile
People interested in starting out as VTC drivers, or who need to acquire practical knowledge before joining a company, a fleet or a professional activity in the sector.
The need we address
Joining the VTC sector professionally means knowing the entry requirements, the applicable regulations, how the platforms work and the everyday situations that come up: pick-ups, navigation, adding stops, cash or card payments, handling incidents and looking after passengers. Future Taxi Academy provides a first practical grounding to shorten the learning curve and approach the work with more knowledge and operational confidence.
Practical training
The training is based on the real day-to-day of professional mobility and covers customer care, incident handling, the usual service procedures and hands-on use of the main mobility platform apps, applying that knowledge to real situations a driver faces.
Free initial training and additional services
The initial guidance and preparation offered by Future Taxi Academy is free. Separately and voluntarily, participants may later contract specific preparation services, documentary support or advanced training, including programmes linked to professional accreditations or tests where these apply in their territory.
Access to the programme and official channels
The initial guidance and preparation of Future Taxi Academy is offered directly through our official channels. Future Taxi does not authorise third parties to charge for access to this programme, nor to use our identity to recruit participants without express authorisation.
Any additional professional services that may be contracted voluntarily will always be identified beforehand as separate services and handled through Future Taxi’s official channels.
Scope of the service
- We offer free initial guidance and practical preparation for people interested in joining the VTC sector professionally.
- We explain the entry requirements and the regulations that apply in each territory.
- We train on the driver’s everyday work: pick-ups, navigation, adding stops, cash or card payments, handling incidents and looking after passengers.
- We teach, hands on, how the apps and tools commonly used on the main mobility platforms work.
- We may later offer, separately and voluntarily, specific preparation services, documentary support or advanced training, setting out their terms and cost in advance.
Outside the scope
- The free initial training does not oblige anyone to contract any later service.
- We do not issue permits, licences, certificates or official accreditations whose granting rests with a public authority or competent body.
- We do not guarantee passing exams, tests or official administrative processes.
- We do not guarantee being hired, joining a company, a job or any specific employment terms.
- We do not act as a temporary employment agency and we do not supply workers to third parties as such.
